This short course is offered as a 1-hour online live demo guiding you through power tips for best practice when using Microsoft Teams. It covers key tips to keep you productive when working in the cloud and collaborating in Teams.

This course is aimed at people who are ready to learn the best way to use the core features that Teams offers. This course is definitely for you if:

  • You've been using Teams for a while and you’re feeling that gaining some understanding in how to use it better would be beneficial
  • You didn’t receive any formal training when you first started using Teams
  • You started using Teams recently, so you now need to consolidate what you already know, learn how to effectively use it and unlearn any bad practice you may’ve picked up

Learning outcomes

This live-demo course demonstrates need-to-know power tips across the core features of Teams. Learners will gain confidence and competence collaborating and managing content in Teams. This course is demonstration only, there is no dedicated time for hands-on exercises, however there is a Q&A at the end of the session. Learners will require a PC with wi-fi access to join the live demo. The course is complemented with a quick reference cheat sheet.

Course pre-requisites

An understanding of Microsoft® Office 365 would be beneficial but not essential. This course is not designed for beginners or as an introduction to Teams; prior experience using Teams and an understanding of introductory concepts to working in the cloud is a must.
