Microsoft Office – use shortcut keys to grow and shrink the font size

PROBLEM: Do you find yourself having to change the size of your font often while you are typing?  Stopping to use the mouse to select a different size can really slow you down.

SOLUTION: Start using keyboard shortcuts to quickly increase and decrease the font size.

Word, PowerPoint and Outlook – use shortcut keys to Grow and Shrink the Font size

First select the text to be formatted and then:

  • To grow the font size press SHIFT+ CTRL + >
  • To shrink the font size press SHIFT+ CTRL + <
